Which audio formats can I trim?
You can add MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF, and AIF files. MP3, AAC, and WAV are available as export formats on this page.
Does trimming reduce audio quality?
Exporting to WAV preserves uncompressed PCM audio. MP3 and AAC are re-encoded formats, so choose WAV when you plan to continue editing or need a lossless intermediate file.
Can I add fade in or fade out?
Yes. Choose a fade duration in the settings. Fades are rendered with Web Audio and exported as WAV so the transition is not followed by another lossy encode.
Does the audio trimmer work on mobile?
Yes, on recent mobile browsers with Web Audio and Web Workers support. For long or large files, keep the tab open while the browser finishes processing.
Is there a file size limit?
The current limit is 500MB per file. Large files may need more device memory during decoding, so closing other heavy tabs can help.
