Common use cases
Whether you are organizing footage or preparing a final upload, merging clips can save time and avoid another desktop app install.

- Join lesson, meeting, or product-demo screen recordings into one file.
- Combine short social clips and normalize the resolution before publishing.
- Arrange raw footage and preview the sequence before importing it into a desktop editor.
Privacy and data handling
The page uses browser File APIs, WebCodecs, and a MediaBunny Worker to process video. In normal use, video content is not sent to MediaKit servers or stored in the cloud because of the merge.
Frequently asked questions
Which video formats can I merge?
Common formats including MP4, M4V, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MTS, M2TS, TS, and OGV are supported. You can export MP4, WebM, MKV, or MOV.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Files are read and processed in the current browser tab. A MediaBunny Worker handles decoding and encoding locally, so the normal workflow does not require an upload.
Can I merge videos with different resolutions or formats?
Yes. The tool normalizes clips using your selected resolution and output format. When aspect ratios differ, it preserves the image and adds padding by default.
Why can a large video take a while to process?
Merging can require reading, decoding, encoding, and muxing the video. The time depends on duration, resolution, browser, and device performance. Same-size clips without trimming use the faster path when possible.
