Your video stays on your device
The editor uses MediaBunny, WebCodecs, and a Worker running inside your browser. The selected file is read locally, processed locally, and turned into a downloadable Blob. MediaKit does not need an upload, account, or server-side copy for this tool.

Is this video rotator free?
Yes. You can rotate and flip a video in the browser without signing in.
Will rotating reduce video quality?
The output is re-encoded to MP4, so a small quality change is possible. The tool uses a high-quality preset and keeps the original dimensions apart from the 90°/270° orientation change.
Does the rotated video keep its audio?
Yes, audio is kept by default. You can turn off Keep original audio before exporting if you need a silent video.
What if my file is not supported?
Use a recent Chromium-based browser such as Chrome or Edge with WebCodecs enabled, or convert the source to MP4 first. Very old or unusual codecs may not be decodable in the browser.
Are files uploaded or stored?
No. Processing happens locally in the browser. The result remains available in the current tab until you download it or close the page.
Can I rotate a video on my phone?
Yes when the mobile browser supports WebCodecs, but larger videos are faster and more reliable on a modern desktop or laptop.
